I don't think iFaith will work with the latest firmware but there is really no need to save those blobs.
I use atv Flash (black) ($30 US) to save my firmware signatures, but i don't have a atv2 at 5.0.2 to test either SW.
Hi
Firstly thanks for all your assistance resolving installation issues.
Now that I have an upgraded all singing dancing ATV2, I want to ensure it remains that way.
Is it possible to use Ifaith to back up my existing 5.0.2 blobs.
Cheers

I would not worry about backing up your blobs. If for some reason they are needed we will have all the different firmware available on our website.
Check out the downloads page as you will see we have all the Apple TV 2 Factory Firmware Files.

wont he need his device specific BLOBs if he has issues in the future? I thought this had become a bit of a big thing in the firmware releases 5 and up... and I wrong?
