If it's jailbroke you should see a red FC logo in the settings icon.
The older firmware had a different gui (interface)..I liked it better
Hey there, I'll start off by giving my apple TV's info.
Apple TV Software 5.0.2 (4250)
Before I was done doing whatever I did, I had some older software (at least the user interface looked older).
I installed seasonpass and went through the steps there until it told me to hold the menu and play button at the same time until the apple TV enters DFU mode. I tried this, and tried and tried, but iTunes wouldn't open up to install. I then decided to open iTunes manually and update the software. I figured I might have older software than can be jailbroken and I'd have to update before jawbreaking. So after updating, I tried jail breaking again and it still didn't work. Am I missing something? Maybe it is jailbroken and I just don't know it. How do you tell?
