Rowmote is another advanced remote control software for mobile platforms. Once you’ve installed it on your mobile device, you’ll still need to install the appropriate files to your Apple TV 2 device before you can interface the two. It’s easy, don’t be scared.
INSTALLING ROWMOTE THROUGH NITOTV FOR APPLE TV 2
Requirements
- nitoTV Installed to Jailbroken ATV2
Step 1: Go to the “nitoTV” menu.
Step 2: Open the “Install Software” option listed.
Step 3: Choose “Rowmote Helper” from the available options.
Step 4: Press the “Install” button.
Step 5: Wait a minute while the installer processes.
Step 6: Once the “Installation/Upgrade successful” heading is displayed at the top, you can press “MENU” on your Remote Control several times to return to the main menu.
Step 7: Press the “MENU” button a few times to return to the main menu. Configure your “Rowmote” mobile device application to interface with the Apple TV 2. It’s done on the mobile device end.
Congratulations! You’ve enabled Rowmote Support on your Apple TV 2 receiver. Go play.
