It’s easier than pie to install Remote HD support to your Apple TV through the nitoTV software source. Remote HD is a mobile application that runs on various platforms and gives you advanced capabilities to control your Apple TV.
INSTALLING REMOTE HD THROUGH NITOTV TO THE APPLE TV 2
Requirements
- nitoTV Installed on Jailbroken ATV2
Step 1: Go to the “nitoTV” menu heading and choose the “Install Software” option.
Step 2: Click on the “Remote HD” option from the listing.
Step 3: Select the “Install” button to commence.
Step 4: Wait about a minute while the installation process takes place.
Step 5: Once you see the “Installation/Upgrade successful” message at the top, you can press the “MENU” button several times on your Remote Control to return to the main screen.
Step 6: You’ll now see the “Remote HD” tab at the Far Right of the main menu. You can now begin configuring the mobile application on your device.
Congratulations! You’ve now installed Remote HD to your Apple TV, now all that’s left is getting used to using it, shouldn’t be too difficult though.
